Sector 4 / Register of Fermented Alcoholic Beverages (Wines) Exporters

Wine is the drink obtained from the total or partial alcoholic fermentation of the juice of ripe grapes. Wine is made up of different components, themain one being water, which constitutes between 82% and 88%. The second most important component is alcohol, which arises thanks to fermentation, and gives body and aroma to the wine. The alcohol content usually varies between 7% and17%, depending on the type of wine.

Currently, section IV of article 59 of the law establishes the obligation for those who wish toimport goods to be registered in the Register of Importers and, when needed, inthe Register of Exporters of Specific Sectors, which is in charge of the Tax Administration Service. (SAT).
